The pendant beautifully showcases five magnificent, high-dome oval cabochons of Natural Mexican Turquoise, hand-selected for their striking, deep cerulean coloration and dramatic webbed charcoal-black host rock matrix lines.

The settings feature fine bead-wire accents nestled gracefully at each corner joint, highlighting a classic shadowbox bezel border. Suspended from an elegant, 18-inch sterling silver twisted rope chain, the reverse backing plate carries a crisp, authentic ".925 MWS MEXICO" workshop signature hallmark. Care Instructions

To preserve the rich color of the natural turquoise and the detailed shadowbox dimensions of this fine Taxco necklace, clean it using only a dry, specialized jewelry polishing cloth along the raised edges. Never submerge this piece in water, ultrasonic jewelry baths, or harsh liquid tarnish removers. Turquoise is a porous organic gemstone; liquid cleaners can alter its natural hue and damage the vintage setting paste. Always remove your necklace before swimming or bathing.

How it's Made

This devotional necklace showcases the traditional bench methods of mid-century Mexican silversmiths. The artisan at studio MWS hand-stamped a solid sterling silver backplate, carefully soldering smooth bezel walls and tiny decorative silver droplet beads into place. Five premium high-dome natural turquoise cabochons were hand-shaped and seated into their bezels, finished with a heavy triangular tapered bail and paired with an 18-inch twisted rope chain.
